Nancy Cooper Alicea’s Interior Design experience spans over a decade.  Prior to joining the Hotel Design Group Nancy worked for Baker Barrios Architects.  She was the lead Designer responsible for all FF&E selections, FF&E specifications and FF&E documents for the boutique hotel, Alfond Inn, Rollins College in Winter Park, FL.  Nancy was an active team member in the hotel concept and worked in collaboration with the owner, the management company and the architects to ensure a seamless experience for the client.

Mrs. Alicea designed for the Kessler Collection for 5 years.  She was the senior designer and was responsible for the execution of several luxury boutique ground up hotel projects.  Most notably, The Mansion on Forsyth Park, Savannah GA, El Monte Sagrado, Taos NM, Kessler Canyon, De Beque, CO and The Bohemian Savannah River Front, GA.  Her hands on role included interior architecture, interior design and documentation, specification manuals, project management and installation through grand openings.

Her passion for design, and the Hospitality Industry as a whole, is evident in her creativity.  Her custom millwork, lighting and furniture designs are inspiring.  Each project for her is a work of art, sculpted to tell a story and create memorable experiences.

Nancy is a team player.  Her work ethic demonstrates relentless commitment to quality work and innovative designs.  She is thoughtful and diligent and is instrumental in bringing design projects to life.  She is a proactive project manager and is a creative problem solver.

Nancy studied abroad in London at The American Continental University completing two interns  at Carden Cunietti and Amok.  She earned a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Interior Design from  the International Academy of Design and Technology, Tampa, FL.  National Council for Interior Design Qualifications (NCIDQ), No. 26989.

She enjoys staying active and spending time with Tobey, her baby Max, her husband Victor and family.
