Deborah Golding, founder of the Hotel Design Group has realized a rewarding and successful 20+ year career in interior design, purchasing and development in the hospitality industry. She has delivered consistent cutting edge design creating one of the best hotel portfolios in the industry. Most notably seven of her designed hotels were the first hotels selected to represent the prestigious “Autograph Collection”, for Marriott Hotels.

Deborah was the Vice President of Interior Design and Purchasing for the Kessler Collection for more than 15 years. The Kessler Collection is an innovative leader in the luxury boutique segment of the hospitality industry specializing in Hotels, Restaurants, and Spas. Deborah was responsible for many multimillion dollar resort developments due diligence, budgets, program analysis, operational coordination, interior architecture, interior design, procurement, project management and marketing initiatives for several new hotels, historic preservations and renovations for Kessler throughout the country.

Prior to joining Kessler in 2000 she was Director of Design for Sunterra Resorts, an interval ownership developer. She created the in-house design and purchasing company “Design International” for Sunterra, creating revenue for the developer, marketing and growing the company with Sunterra from one to more than eighty resorts throughout the country and the Caribbean.

Deborah Golding has been instrumental in contributing to the success and growth of these respected organizations through her dedication to excellence, knowledge of the industry, successful implementation skills and leadership roles.

Her work has received several national awards and has been featured in numerous acclaimed publications.
